I just finished my first 13 week journal/12 week year, and I am now looking at the remainder of the year with less than 13 weeks on the calendar. I’ve decided to take advantage of these last two months to hammer on my operating model that I have been using for the past six months with substantial breakthroughs.
There is a strong dose of daily discipline that I will be pursuing as a result for the remainder of the year with a number of big milestones established for myself personally and also at work between now and 2018. The next two months are going to be brutal in many ways, and also especially satisfying as the prior 10 months were all in preparation for this big push standing in front of me.
One of the tools I just purchased today is – 30 Days of Discipline by Victor Pride. I’ve been reading his blog for at least a year off and on, and this framework has been something I’ve been eyeing. Well today, I took the plunge.
The guide seems to be very very aligned with many of the things I’ve already implemented across multiple areas of my life, although I especially like the framework accountability that this program has at its core. As a result, I’ll be executing on this 30 day window and reporting back here on the results with some increased frequency. I need to get this blog up to 100 posts within a year, so this final push at the end of the year will surely provide some rich fodder to post around.
More to come.
